New Faces

A big welcome to Sally, Catherine and Joey! Sally comes from an extensive Physiotherapy and Pilates background. She is available for privates on Tuesday evenings and Wednesday mornings.

Catherine joins us from a rich background in Pilates starting out as a Fitness Instructor she went on to train at Body Control in London. You can visit Catherine in the studio on a Wednesday morning or take one of her allegro classes on a Thursday morning.

Joey joins us as your welcome party at the front desk. We are sure you will make her feel welcome also. You can catch her from Monday to Fridays from 8am – 12pm.

Re-assessments

We have been busy working on structured re-assessments to ensure all clients who have one can get better movement and more understanding of their bodies. We recommend everyone have a re-assessment after their first 10 – 30 sessions and then once yearly. Please see Joey for available times to see Sally or Louise during July. Jakki will also be available from August.

Housekeeping

It would be wonderful if all clients could sign the sign in sheet when arriving for class. We keep these on record and like them to be accurate for future reference. We also like to have them in the case of an emergency so we know who we need to be looking out for.

If you don’t already have one, please see Joey to register a username and password for our online program. You can access your details and keep up to date.

For those of you who are reading the paper version of our newsletter, and haven’t received it via email, we don’t have your email address. If you would like to receive email updates, please pass on your email to Joey and also log on to our website www.pilatescentremosman.com.au and subscribe to our newsletters.

Renovations

Thank you to everyone for your patience during our renovation period. We are enjoying our fresh, new space and hope you are too!

Moving Through Winter

During these winter months we tend to lose quality in our posture and our beathing due to coughs, colds and holding our shoulders up in an attempt to feel warm and shield ourselves from that winter chill. Our joints feel stiff and cold.

Take the time to focus on deep breathing to warm the body and improve circulation. Before leaving the house in the morning, warm your joints by flexing, pointing and circling. Focus on one joint at a time sending the intention of warmth and comfort to assist you in better movement.
